“Nothing defines humans better than their willingness to do irrational things in the pursuit of phenomenally unlikely payoffs. This is the principle behind lotteries, dating, and religion.” ~Scott Adams
Two time Bulgarian Lottery Numbers:
4, 15, 23, 24, 35, 42
LOST Numbers:
4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42
So, maybe not all of the numbers are bad. Only four…or two, depending on how you look at it, I suppose. (Apologies to non-LOST fans. You really should watch it, though. Not just so you’d know what I’m going on about, but because it’s so very good.)

I think those numbers are going to be the downfall of everyone this season…
Check out my blog where I imagine a world without the people no one can stand…

So should those winners watch out for the double curse?! Because not only is there the Lost reference (yes I used to watch Lost vigilantly
), but there’s also the attached “supposed” Lottery Curse.

@ thinningtheheard – Awesome. In a chapter in The Hard Way (a novel I wrote, as if you couldn’t tell from my page) one of the character’s, Keith, puts everyone at a party into a made-up species category. Funny gag. I like it. (Pats self on back while pointing and nodding in your direction.)
@paradisereason – I wonder if we could follow the progress of those lottery winners? Although it would be easier to just suspect that anything that goes wrong in Bulgaria from now on is because of them. Yeah. I’ll do that.
